New location - but the coffee machine comes with you!

Our treasured Mechanical Engineering Learning Center is moving! Due to the upcoming renovation of the architecture building and the space requirements there, our learning center and the student council will be relocated to a container solution in the future.

The good news is that the new premises have the same floor space and offer a wide range of learning spaces. In addition to a large study area, group and individual study rooms are planned over three floors. The student council and the learning center will remain next door to each other, so that our paths remain short in the future. The coffee machine, microwave and drinks kiosk will of course be moving with us.

We will inform you as soon as we have more detailed information and a moving date has been set. There are no plans to return to the current premises – in the future, these will be used by the Department of Architecture.

We look forward to shaping this new chapter together with you!

Until we move, you can use the LZMB as normal. We will only move when everything is ready for us in the new LZ, so you won't have a day without a place to study. We will let you know well in advance.

We will probably move in the summer, but it could also turn out to be winter. As construction work is taking place all over the university, the building department is working at full capacity, so deadlines may be delayed.

Our Relocation Committee is working hard to make the new LZ as great as possible for you.
