Dear students,

another year is coming to an end and the only thing left for us is to wish you a wonderful Christmas season and a happy new year. We look back once again on an eventful year in the field of mechanical engineering.

The past year was marked by the revision of our existing programs. We have also strengthened our cooperation with industry through cooperation professorships, such as that of Dr. Clever and ABB, and are looking for a successor for Prof. Anderl. Furthermore, Prof. Oechsner has taken over the office of the Dean from Prof. Rinderknecht and will head the department for the next two years.

Some of these things will certainly accompany us next year and we are looking forward to any kind of active support.

As you have probably already noticed, our meetings always take place on Tuesdays at 19:00 o'clock in L3|01-72. On January 21st we thought up something new to bring our work closer to you. We will hold a meeting for new students. Beginning at 18:00 we will start with a small introduction round to get to know the active student council and our work. At 19:00 the meeting will start as usual and after that there will be pizza for everyone.
